First Tornado hit Northern Thailand 790 Died

11 March – The number of people who died from the first tornado hit Northern Thailand increase seven hundreds and ninety people. This is the first tornado in Thai history and it is the worst natural disaster of Thai people at this time.
The government officially announce that the number of people who died in Chiang Mai increase two hundreds and fifty people, Chiang Rai one hundred and eighty people, Lampang one hundred and fifty people, Mea Hong Son one hundred and twenty people and Phayao ninety people. The number of people who died from five provinces until now total seven hundreds and ninety people, and thousands of people were injured. In this the number of people who died and were injured have foreign people too.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra visited people in five provinces where the worst affect areas. Miss Yingluck also consults with the governor of each provinces to solve this problem together. Prime Minister Yingluck said “she was shocked by the news of tornado hit Thailand because it is the first tornado in Thai history, and this is the worst natural disaster for Thai people too.” She also said “Tornado is the most calamity that she has never met before and She has promised to do what she could to help”
The government said “They will help people who died and were injured from tornado and They will rehabilitate to the last for the worst affects area.” They will also contact with the UN to inform information about foreign people who died and were in juried from tornado in Thailand for their counties.
Tornado was the worst natural disaster that effect to Thai people, the environment, the economy and the most important is Thai tourism because Thailand is the country in Southeast Asia that the tourists like to travel.
SWU Company calculate the value of damage from tornado that insurance company will pay for damage from tornado about 300-500 million dollar or about 9,000-15,000 million baht.
